We are currently introducing Robotics to 4th grade students of Napa Street Elementary School in Northridge, California, in an after-school ten weeks session, that is held every Saturday between 9:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. Students and their parents, are working together to create robots using ready-made specifications, with the purpose of gaining enough experience that will lead them to build their own robot from start to finish. As they work and conduct research, students get acquainted with robot construction, sensors, movement analysis, programming, and learn to record their findings in a database.
