Miriam E. Bogler
Miriam is the founder and CEO of Apollo's Vision Computer Clubs, Inc. After years of experience in technology education and database development for schools, she launched Apollo’s Vision in 2002 to fulfill her longtime dream to open an alternative after-school learning facility, in which students perform as real life practitioners, using design tools in a project-based learning environment. The foundation for this club was established through over 10 years of teaching computer applications to students of grades 1-12. Miriam started her career as a computer programmer, after graduating from a practical engineering school in Israel with a degree in computer science. In 1991, after graduating from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Psychology, she combined her knowledge of cognitive psychology with computer science to explore methods by which computers enhance student learning.
Miriam Kaner
Mrs. Kaner is a Senior Project Engineer with 3M Pharmaceuticals, a division of 3M, located in Northridge, California. Mrs. Kaner is responsible for managing major facility and pharmaceutical process equipment projects to meet all required financial, functional and time related objectives. This includes managing multi-million dollar budgets, vendors, contractors, validation requirements, to meet the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) compliance regulations.
Ruvin Grutman
Ruvin is the co-founder and president of Grutman - Mazler Engineering, Inc. (GM Engineering), a leading civil engineering and land-surveying firm located in Van Nuys, California. Ruvin is a registered civil engineer and land surveyor in California and Texas. Ruvin led his firm in performing major development projects in Southern California implementing and utilizing the most advanced technology tools and methods available. Before founding GM Engineering in 1988, Ruvin was a senior project manager with Engineering Technology, Inc. of Sherman Oaks, California and Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc. of Houston, Texas, vice-president with CGS Engineering, Inc. of Houston, Texas, and staff engineer with Turner Collie & Braden of Houston, Texas and Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers of San Antonio, Texas. Ruvin is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and of the American Arbitration Association. He published "Computerized Bridge Coding for HEC-2 Applications on IBM PC" for the 15th Annual Water Resources Conference.
Felix Levitas
Felix is the co-founder and president of BFL Engineering, Inc., a civil engineering and consulting services firm based in Van Nuys, California. Felix is a registered civil engineer in California. Felix is involved as a design engineer and consultant in many major construction projects in Southern California, utilizing cutting edge technological tools and methods in the process. Before founding BFL Engineering in 1995, Felix was the chief engineer of PCPCI of Westlake Village, California, senior project manager with GM Engineering of Van Nuys, California, and project manager and engineer in numerous large public projects in Russia dating back till 1967.
