Students in this program get to work in a modern digital arts studio. They use Corel's Painter 8 ® to emulate a fully equipped art studio, and create their original work by drawing on a tablet with a digital pen. The tools in Painter 8 allow the student to experience almost any traditional media and digital media possible. Students incorporate their Painter skills with additional graphics tools like Adobe Photoshop®, or different web-design tools. Projects can lead to a rich art portfolio or be part of a larger graphics project. Students may choose to print their work on canvas by professional printers, building a collection of artwork for an exhibition.
